Avondale Banner

The Avondale (or Strathaven) Covenanter flag was formerly located at the John Hastie Museum in Strathaven. It is now located in the Hamilton Museum.

The flag has a Bible at the top and a thistle at the bottom. On the flag are the words:

IN.CHVRCH.AND.STATE.

ACCORDING.TO.THE.WORD

OF.GOD.AND.OUR.COUENANTS
