Dalgety Covenanter Associations

Rev Andrew Donaldson

Donaldson was borth in Perthshire and qualified at St Andrews in 1638. He became minister of Dalgetty parish soon after. He was removed in 1664 for failing to follow the eliscopal Bishop of Dunkeld. He held conventicles in private houses and elsewhere. He refused the Indulgence in 1672 and was subsequently imprisoned in Linlithgow tolbooth from 1678-79. He was restored to Dalgety Church in 1690 and died around 1694/5.
